IT WAS FOR A SHORT BOX AND NOT THE LONG BOX ALTHOUGH THE BOX CONTENTS SAID THAT IT WAS FOR THE LONG BOX. THIS IS MY SECOND ARE TOPPER; THE FIRST ONE WAS ON MY 2010 RAM 2500 4X4 CREW CAB WITH SHORT BOX, AND WAS STILL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WHEN I TRADED FOR MY USED 2015 FORD SUPER DUTY 4X4 CREW CAB THIS FALL. THE NEW CX OVERLAND SERIES TOPPER WAS INSTALLED AT S&S IN KALISPELL, MT, YESTERDAY WHEN THE TECHNICIANS DISCOVERED THAT THE BEDRUG WAS THE WRONG ONE FOR MY TRUCK. LOOKS LIKE ARE NEEDS TO TIGHTEN UP THEIR WAREHOUSING PRACTICES. BUT YOU CAN’T GET A BETTER TOPPER. It looks like it belongs there. I added the BedRug, which fits awesome. That's the good. Now to the not so good. A.R.E did a horrible job with supplying the dealer with instructions for wiring the 3rd Brake Light. It's a 3rd Brake Light, not a blinker, not a reverse light, not a park or dome light. I ordered the Drop Down Slider window for the front of the cap. The frame is bent so bad that I cannot get the window out and it came from the factory that way. Now I have to take my truck back to the dealer to fix. The electrical technical assistant from A.R.E. that the dealer consults was just horrible. I ordered the light accessory and wanted to get that wired to the upfitter switch in the cab of the truck. The technician wouldn't help the dealer with trying to figure out how to get it wired. It can be done, one wire to the upfitter output that is on the firewall in the engine compartment!
