When the dealer went to install it, it didn't fit properly. At the front of the bed, it fit perfectly but the further back you went the wider it got and the worse it fit. At the front it fit like a glove but near the tailgate it hung off the side so far that you could stick your finger in the gap. When the dealer complained to ARE, they told them to make it work. Suck it in with ratchet straps if necessary. That is only going to pre-load the top and create stress points which may crack in the future. There are a couple of problems,(1) The rear door wont close all the way. The guy at the place I ordered it from and did the install told me I would have to push HARD on the corners to get it to close. But it wont lock in on the Driver side. Within 3 days of taking delivery of my CX Evolve (installed professionally on my 2020 GMC Sierra), the glass door detached from the hydraulic arms--rendering the unit useless. To add insult to injury, the flailing parts scratched both my brand new truck tailgate and the cap itself. I am beyond disappointed in the engineering of this particular cap. I cannot understand the decision that makes such an important part of the design dependent on glue. I do not believe it will stand up to fluctuations in temperature and regular use.
