I have the DCU model with dbl. doors in the rear and the mid size cap. What you should do is increase the door height to accommodate a 48in. sheet of material to slide right in w/o having to lean it on its side. Thankyou. all-in-all its a good cap, very pleased.

 DCU comerical Unit Series Truck Cap

I ordered a DCU Commercial cap about six weeks ago. When unit arrived at dealer, the unit was returned due to sloppy workmanship and not equipped as ordered. The dealer returned this unit without unloading at his place of business. In two weeks a new unit was shipped back to dealer and I was notified to make appointment for installation on my truck. The fit was not perfect, but Jeff's Performance Plus did an excellent job fitting this unit to my Colorado. This dealer should be commended for his work and thoughtfulness.

I had one of these caps before that I purchased used, so I checked out different makes and models of the contractor caps for my new Tacoma. The A.R.E. was the most expensive but best overall quality. When I got my new DCU series installed on my new truck I was very pleased. The Paint match was perfect and the quality of the handles and locking mechanism were much inproved and nice quality. The only thing I worry about is how long will the gas shocks on the doors will last. Overall, I am truly satisfied with my new DCU.
