 It looks good but does not perform like a $3000 topper should

I like the topper, it looks great, but wondering why i Ordered the HD. There is no part of the inner skeleton that even touches the actual topper - Not sure how this increases the load baring capability at all. also, the installer did a pretty bad job of installing the sliding window that I originally ordered but did not come with it. Also, driver side corner near the bulkhead leaks every time it rains. Yakima tracks did not come with yakima inserts. The topper (looks) good, but that's about it.

Ordered a custom CXHD camper shell from A.R.E. with the 500 pound rack and a tool box on one side. As a member of ARES and CERT I needed a specific design that allows me to carry emergency gear as well as having enough built in structure to install power and radio equipment. The A.R.E. products I have seen around town convinced me they had the best options and highest quality. I couldn't be more pleased

 CX-HD with iKamper roof top tent.

I bought the CX-HD specifically for my iKamper roof top tent. The internal reeinforcement of the ARE cap looked nicer and better integrated into the cap than others I looked at. Inside the bed under the cap will be my Dometic fridge/freezer, camp stove, BBQ and other camoing supplies.
