 Aesthetically great, questionable value

Let me start by saying I'm conflicted with my views on this product. The aesthetics of the MX series caps are wonderful. The fit (minus the door) and color matching are perfect, but the build quality for the price leaves something to be desired. Not only is the back access window made of flimsy, cheap plastic that only requires a quick tug to break, but the plastic border along the bottom of the window has already left deep scratches on my tailgate after the first trip up the mountain. Given that A.R.E. are on the top edge of price when shopping around for toppers, I'm disappointed in the quality of the product and aggrieved by the damage done to my vehicle. If you are concerned with fit and color matching, this product is for you. If build quality and vehicle damage are a concern...i'd recommend shopping around to see what's out there.

Excellent quality, color matches 2005 truck perfectly, great look. I use this truck for camping when pulling a travel trailer. The new topper makes my truck look like a brand new one! Looks classy!

 Execellent MX cover LOVE A.R.E. products!!

I love my new cover ..My second A.R.E. cover The other was the walk through door which I LOVED!!! Hoping I will like this as well. Had the walk through 18 years and made loading/unloading so easy as well as with the dogs! This one will function differently and hope I will get use to it and love as much!. With additional bed features on this bed decided on the MX series not walk through. Hoping I love this one just as much!! A.R.E. such high quality products!!! Very professionally installed. Those folks are GREAT!
