Overall this is a high quality cap and functions flawlessly. There are only 2 issues that I have with it. The first issue is that the paint finish does not match my truck. When I contacted A.R.E. about the color match I was told, "We paint our products to match your truck's paint code, our paint match is pretty spot on." When I said that my titanium white tri-coat does not match I was then told, "with tri-coat colors, having a 100% match is difficult. If you are not satisfied, contact your A.R.E. dealer." The second issue I had was that my A.R.E. dealer took 5 1/2 hours to install the cap and still managed to wire it incorrectly. My Ford dealer had to fix the mistake. It looks great on my '03 Z71 truck. I got the one with the insulation, fold down front window, and had them install 2 lights which work great. The only thing upsetting to me is that when I drove down a gravel road for several miles the whole bed area filled with a lot of dust. This bothers me because I was planning on sleeping back there on my next camping trip deep in the woods of New Mexico. It is not really the fault of the camper shell however. It seems that the dust comes in because of the tail gate. I can actually see a gap on both sides of the gate.
