| | | Great cap - not so great dealerMX Series : Toyota Tacoma

This is our fifth Tacoma and fourth A.R.E. cap - the product is great, which is why we keep coming back. Our last one went for 7 or 8 years before showing signs of wear, mostly with trim falling off the side windows. My only potential criticism is with the lack for protection for the tail light wiring - we haul lots of stuff with our truck and the wiring is vulnerable. Our dealer experience this time was not so great - the old dealer had been bought out by competition and the service was awful - lots of miscommunication about what were buying, pricing issues, and coordination of vehicle pickup following installation. All together a terrible experience. Next time we will drive much further to find another A.R.E. dealer or will switch to another cap brand. A.R.E needs to provide better quality control of its dealers.
