My review will be short and to the point. My Wife is disabled and must use a scooter to be able to leave the house. My MX series makes My life a bit less stressful because I have no worries about Her scooter getting damaged or ruined during bad weather...or for that matter...anything I put in the bed of My truck gets the same protection...and I love that. I purchased the MX because of the great style lines which adds to the great looks of My Dodge 3500 Dually. PS..I recieve compliments on My truck and shell combo quite often. Thanks.

I have had the MX shell with rear hatch-door for just over one week now. I just took it out into the dirt yesterday to check for any strange noises or other issues. I'm happy to report there are none. My truck handles better now that the weight is more evenly distributed. I have not gained or lost any gas mileage. I'm still getting approx. 16.5 MPG driving locally and on mountain roads and some dirt forest roads too. I haven't taken it out for any longer journeys yet, but when I do I expect to get about 18.5 MPG. I'm very impressed. I'm even going to save some money on vehicle registration now that it is no longer a commercial vehicle. An excellent product. Can't wait for my first camping trip to try it out.

No complaints at all so far, have had product for 8 months and have no negative issues except one design issue. I ordered mine with the full fiberglass walk-in door, the issue I have is with how difficult the full door is to open. It really is very heavy and all you have to grip is a slight indentation on the bottom to lift this heavy door. The only way to really do it is to forget the " indentation " and just reach all the way under and squash the rubber weather proofing everytime I open. This works OK but years from now I'm sure that the weatherproofing will be screwed up by continually opening this way.
