I had the MX top installed shortly after buying my Tundra and after 6+ years and over 120,000 miles it still looks great and works as good as new. A few years ago someone tried to twist open the locked handles to the back hatch and failed. They twisted hard enough to jam the locks but they did not open. Our stuff remained safe and secure.
The only sign of age, the lower trim piece on the window frame, held on with two sided tape, has come off. I assume this was there for looks so I just cleaned up the old tape and did not replace it.
