That was my decision to buy this one. The outside finish is good and pretty well matches my 4yo truck. The interior is a rough fiberglass mat lightly painted over. There are some placed where the hard sharp fiberglass strands poke out, ouch. Some design problems: The topper lower interior lib behind the front passenger is too big. The C-clamp did not fit correctly. The dealer did the best they could. I fabricated a stop block to fit the clamp with improved bite. The tailgate lip has a gap at the topper rear window that traps leaves, just dumb. Fabricated a gasket to fix. Condensation rolls off the back window upper hinge, right onto the truck bed tailgate when opened. My friends noted that the Sierra and topper combination looks great. I get about 1.5 mpg better highway mileage (verses the LoPro tonneau on the bed) with the top, even when pulling my 20 ft boat. A little pricey but the door configuration was important to me and their were few competitive options. The quality of the shell is very high and I really love the door configuration. I use the shell for camping and the door is much more convenient than the traditional tailgate configuration. Plus I like the option to lift the whole backdoor up for full and easy access to the bed of the truck. I also like the extra headroom this shell provides. I have a couple of comments for improvements. The tinted glass should have one way viewing (from inside the shell to the outside of the shell) so nobody can see into the shell. It would improve security when truck is unattended and privacy when camping, especially when the inside light is on. Also, the door lock for the walk-in door is really mickey mouse. How about a real door latch or handle with a real lock. Current lock is a piece of sewn on material that goes over the door latch. Lastly, the LED lighting switch is very tiny and hard to find in the dark. It is close to the wiring and really difficult to find and use.
