Overall fit and finish where cap meets tailgate is very poor. Structurally, it's still going strong and it's been through 320K miles in the Colorado Rockies. Broke a couple of Vista windows but that's how it goes out here. No other problems whatsoever. Paint and clear coat has faded on the top but the sides still look new. I'm picking up my new truck on Saturday and I'm going to order another ARE MX Cap. Hope these two last me 19+ years. Fit and finish excellent, durability excellent. But I didn't get the sliding front window option. The rear window of my truck got really dirty over 8 years, and I did not feel like moving the cap to clean it. The new Cap I bought recently has both a slider and drops down to allow me to get to the back window for cleaning. Fit and finish are still great, and I like the new side window openers. I put Yakima bars on top and they are a lot more aerodynamic than the first set I had.
