I've had A.R.E. caps on my pickups going back to 1997. 3 years ago my son bought my 2002 truck with A.R.E. Z-series cap - that cap has been rock solid to this day (11/2017) with no leaks or other problems. I missed owning a truck so I purchased a new one in August, 2017. My first accessory was the A.R.E. MX-series cap. My wife and I bicycle and wanted the extra clearance afforded by the MX-series to easily load and unload our bikes. Wow, has the technology changed in 15 years! Like my previous A.R.E. caps, the MX fits the truck like a glove. The LED light string option is awesome - at 55 years old, I have no problems locating things at night. The tilt-down front window option provides easy access to the cab for cleaning. The carpet interior option (see coupon on the website) is a nice finishing touch. I'm looking forward to enjoying my truck and A.R.E. cap will into my retirement years!
