Interior central handle needed for embark/disembark - even at 6ft tall I have to stretch to get hold of the rear window/gate when standing behind the truck. If I am sleeping inside the topper and wish to close the window/gate, I have to drag down on the gas struts. A short cord attached to the interior handle would be a great help. An interior manual non-key lock on the window/gate would be also be of great help. For the rest, so far I am happy.

I would have gotten the full pulldown door if it would've had the backup camera attachment to fit my truck. Very well-made top and Melchiors Trailer did a great job from start finish.

 Great topper at a reasonable price

This was a great purchase for me and my family. The large windows are eazy to see out of and the room inside the topper is amazing. One thing though on an F 150 the topper height is about 7'6" so you always have to watch your clearances. But it looks good and does its job. The only problem I have with it, is you can't fully wash the topper for 60 days. That's I guess how long the paint takes to cure. Other than that it was a great purchase, very durable and the LED lights installed light up everything and then some.
