 Disappointed
MX Series : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra

This is the second time we’ve had an A.R.E. topper. The first one we had on our Colorado was great - not so with the one we just purchased for our Silverado. The carpeted lining is separating at the seams, the front window frame is crooked- definitely not the same quality workmanship as our first one. We will be contacting our dealer to see how we can resolve these issues.

The carpet laying in the topper was not to our satisfaction. There were several seams and one small space not even covered. We were very disappointed. We have had it done in another truck and it was laid very nicely.

 Disappointed in design and quality

There were three big issues, the biggest was where the back door meets the tailgate. The overlap piece that meets at the tailgate, does fit well with the cap. I looked like the cap was them ground to allow for the piece to fit, but it left a large gap. The carpet was not trimmed back, allowing water to wick into the cab. Vendor did their best to correct. Dings and scratches, one at the back door trim, one at the overlap plastic piece that meets the tailgate. Side Window gasket, not sealed at the corners well. As mentioned, Vendor did what they could along with sending the pictures I took. Maybe I'm expecting too much.
