The dealer installed it on the vehicle without any problems. The fit is really great. The only recommendation that I have is to add approxmiatley one inch (1")on each side of the bottom plate of the door. This will help increase the less likely hood of water seeping in the rear area. The only problems I have had with the cap is it wants to slide back just a bit and because of the construction of the Toyota bed I had a leak. The cap was not at fault for the leak. I had to seal the plastic bed rails and interior to the metal exterior of the bed with some clear caulk at the front of the bed. The cap is holding up very well and the color is stable. Bought the TW series to cover camping gear, cover dog, and lessening wind resistance when towing camper. This is the third A.R.E. cap I have bought and no problems.
