| | | E-Mail, Decreased Rear Window, Fog, Keys, Lock, WiringV Series : Nissan Other
April 16, 2016 Posted by: Joseph ERIC Fisk
Dear Friend, First, A.R.E. employees need to reply to E-mail much, much faster in 2016. Next, the "V" series for my Hardbody (D-21) truck decreases my rear window visibility because the camper top window is smaller than the Nissan window. When it rains, the rear windows fog up much, much more than before without the camper top. The key for the rear window lock has a huge plastic cover on the top that is ridiculous to carry around so I immediate made another, thinner, shorter key at a specialty shop for $3. The wiring for the brake light could have looked a bit more professional, but perhaps that is the only option A.R.E. gave the installers. If you have never driven with a camper top on, you really have to upgrade and increase your attention to detail (use of all three mirrors) - especially when backing up. I wrote the above review not to discourage anyone from buying an A.R.E., but in hopes that A.R.E. will make the above upgrades for the next person.
