The quality of the cap seems to be good. My frustration so far with it was the installation. I noticed a 1/2" gap between the top of the tail gate and the door to the cap. The reason for this gap was that the cap was install 1/2" too far back. The next day I re-installed the cap in the correct position. Since the tail gate is slightly round the door to the cap does not seal well because it is straight. I also felt the installation took way too long, I could have installed it myself in less then half the time. The had my truck for over an hour and a half.

Have had several truck caps in the past, but my A.R.E. always seemed a cut above, it is the reason this is my third A.R.E. product.

 Excellent Product

My A.R.E. V-Series cap is well made and has a very nice finish. The color match to my 2004 Dakota was perfect. Fidel and his team at Conyers, GA were excellent at customer service.
