 Great Reseller, A.R.E. needs more quality control

Hello, I got my new cap from A.R.E. about 2 months ago. The color match and fit were great. I love the cap, but have a few quality control issues that need to be looked into by A.R.E.: 1) the window when slid open shows glass pock marks, on the edges and near the edge on the front face. 2) the windows open with great difficulty, perhaps figuring out a better way to make this function better. 3) my cap has a lot of hex head screws on the inside holding the windows assembly in - on mine they stripped one and drilled a second hole to finish the install. Instead of replacing the trim so I don't have to deal with their installation error.

 Good Value, but not great....

Good price for a good topper but it has a few issues. I recently went to the west coast for a week and it rained for several days. After returning I found that small rust spots are starting to appear in some small factory holes around the window trim. I assume the window trim would be aluminum so not sure where the rust is coming from. I purchased the flip open side window (win-door) but I now see that the window is scraping the paint off the window trim from the "flip up" action. My only other compaint is with the flip down slide front window (for easy cleaning). The slide window doesn't have any trim around the glass and the edge is sharp. The handle on this window is also just affixed with double sided tape which has already fallen off. Don't get me wrong, it is still a great topper and functions good enough but it is going to require some minor upkeep to keep it looking good. PS: the paint was also not a perfect match but perhaps that is due to paint fade on my truck.
