I bought the ARE cap and BEDRUG to make the cargo area of my truck better for my use. The V Series Cap was ordered with the carpet headliner and flip down front sliding window. It looks so neat and clean. A great finished look! This was a new truck for me and I drove it for about 6 weeks before the cap was installed. After it was on, I was surprised at how much quieter the truck was without having the wind and road noise right behind the rear window. The ride was even better. Now things in the cargo area will be nice and dry and dust free. I had my 1st one for 15 years. This is a new version of what I had and I couldn't be more pleased. Fit and finish was excellent! Installer at Ballards Camping (ED) was excellent too. One thing I noticed with the dark colored carpet/liner is that the interior of the bed area is darker. The old cap had a white interior that seemed to keep things a little brighter. Security for our dogs was paramount in the search. This cap gives us everything we wanted; extremely secure and durable pet screens, front slider, and ease of access. Our two Akita's and two Great Danes have put the pet screens to the test a few times and they have held up beautifully. The Dual back locking latches mean no worries of them pushing through the top.
