After shopping around in my local area, I could not find a reasonably (ok, one that I wanted to spend the amount on) priced fiberglass cap. The "base" caps I found near me were about as expensively priced as the cap I purchased from A.R.E., with some amenities. I was very concerned with how the liftgate would fit the contour of my tailgate. The tailgate has a wider profile because of the back-up camera and light, rather concaved. The cap fits like a glove! I also had the rope lights installed, which are on either side of middle hump and are VERY BRIGHT! I like having the front glass (next to the rear window of the cab) being able to drop down to allow easy access for cleaning between the windows - not that I'll use it THAT often. ;) I'm very pleased with how my cap makes my truck look longer, the finish matches perfectly - as much as I can tell. I'm VERY PLEASED. Thank you.
