Purchased this product 05-30-24. I am dissatisfied with its performance. Appearance is good, cab compliments from 2024 GMC Canyon admirers, but, it leaks, whenever it rains, or I carwash, water leaks in above the rear window, passenger side. Have expressed the problem to Line-X company, they have attempted to "fix" on two attempts, with no success.

I purchased the ARE "Z2" Series Topper: for my 2024 GMC Canyon AT4, on 05-30-2024. My problem, the Topper will not seal along the rear tailgate, allowing water into the interior, during carwash or rainfall. I have returned to Line-X twice, where they have attempted to correct the "leak", but, with no success. At this point, I am disappointed with the performance of the ARE"Z2"Series Topper. Please help me. Thank you.

This is the second ARE canopy that I have purchased, the first was wrote off in an accident. When the canopy was installed there was no wiring harness to connect the backup camera and there was a scratch on the exterior, now a couple weeks later I have noticed some other problems. The window frame on the passenger side is smashed in on 3 of the corners, like someone forced it with a hammer. The back doors don’t line up and are not even, and now today I went to get in the back and it is locked and won’t unlock. Whether I unlock with the provided key or with the remote lock through the truck lock. This has become a nightmare, ARE won’t even do anything about any of these issues. The company that installed it has been very helpful and are trying really hard to do right, but it is hard for them to fix the window frame since it is already installed. And now while I am away on a holiday, and the truck was supposed to go into a shop for wiring it has to go and get the lock fixes. Very frustrating and I would not recommend purchasing this product. Shipping from US to Canada took long enough and it’s not like I can drive in and have the manufacturer correct it and they seem to know that and don’t care.
