Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

I just had my cap put on two days ago. I like the cap. I'm happy with the look of it. But after I got home (I live 3 hours from the closest A.R.E. dealership) I hoped up in the bed to get a closer look at things and I see a hole in the carpet on the top, about the size of a dime. the other thing I didn't like was on the passenger side windows the trim was not straight. It look like a high school kid put it on. Not what I wanted to see after dropping almost $3000 on it. Other than that its what I wanted. But I have to take another day off and run back down to the dealership to fix the water leak. The 2nd day after I got it on it rained. The cap had water from the tailgate to the wheel wells and under front window along the rim. its not the window leaking. I don't think they put it on the truck right. But it sucks that I have to burn gas and time to get it redone. But if you are reading this and is thinking about a new cap for your truck, I would look into A.R.E. I did my homework and for the buck its a nice cap. all products have problems. FORD - Chevy , A.R.E. - LEER...
