My first A.R.E. brand cap. I previously owned other brands. I have had the cap one week now. After the first rain the carpet under the windows was wet on all three sides. I have been back to dealer once and he determined passenger side window is leaking. He made an attempt seal it better by adding many many screws to the window frame. Not sure how 1 window leaking causes all 3 sides to get wet so I am skeptical that my problems are solved. Then there is the fit....nothing like my other cap was...nice and snug all way around. This cap literally hangs out past the side rails. It fits much closer near the front and back but then bows out as it gets near the center on both sides of the truck. The gap is a good 1/2 inch or more. It is wide enough to put all your fingers in the crack. The reason I purchased A.R.E. is because they cost more and are built better. I agree that it does seem to be built better but what good is it if it leaks and poorly fits the dimensions of the truck bed. I spent a lot of hard earned money for this product and I am a very disappointed customer at this point.

Honda Ridgeline

I recently purchased a Z truck top for a 2017 honda ridgeline. This is my third truck shell I've owned but my first A.R.E.,overall a nice top it looks good on the truck but it had a few quality issues. First of all the headliner installation is not real good it has some wrinkles, and air pockets where it didn't adhere to the shell not done as nice as the other ones I've owned. There were a few runs in the clear coat that I sanded and buffed out and it looked like it had some clear overspray on it that I had to clay and polish out. I also have had about 5 water leaks in the shell where it mounts to the truck probably from the quirky nature of the Honda bed rails. I love the electronic lock that opens with the car fob and the hidden hinges and hardware in the rear window overall a very nice shell.
