Bed shell on my 2000 Tundra and loved it. Traded Tundra in for a barely used 2015 Silverado, and first thing I wanted on it was another A.R.E. bed shell. Went back to Tom's Camperland in Mesa and after looking at different bed shells from different companies, bought a new Z series A.R.E. Shell. The build quality, fit and finish are second to none. I love the heavy duty hinges and the paint is exactly the same as the paint on the truck. Tomorrow, getting a Cargoglide bed slide installed, which is something I always wanted for my old Tundra. Getting too old climbing in and out of the truck bed. I have had a couple A.R.E. Z series caps before ('97 ZR2 and '02 Ranger 4X4). Worked good. Got this one home and the passenger window leaked during washing. Called the dealer and he said he would call A.R.E. in a couple days but they would probably send him a seal to repair on site. He stated "I've never taken one of those windows out. I'll have to think about this". So, I guess, I paid for a brand new "top of the line" cap and I am going to wind up with a repaired one. I could have bought a used one and put window seals in it. This is an issue between A.R.E. and the dealer. I should get a brand new cap without issues. Period. This is poor. I am active duty military and bought this new truck and cap to last a long time. My husband and I saved for several years to be able to do this. To get a second class, had-to-be-repaired immediately product is very disappointing. Cannot recommend this cap because while the product can have issues, as any manufactured item can, the idea that it needs repairs immediately and they will be just cobbled together at the dealers by someone who has never done that kind of task is substandard at best. Excellent accessories --- led cap light; E- lock tied into tailgate lock; foss liner throughout; great looking frameless windows with screens. Excellent color match to truck body. A quality product.
