Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

I purchased this cap a week and a half ago. Fits perfect however there was a problem with my order. I ordered the dual led rope lights which I did not get. This issue is suppose to be resolved, however should of been addressed properly the first time. Secondly I added the electronic lock. This lock is not the quality you would expect for the price of the cap. It is very unreliable and only works about half the time. This is suppose to be replaced. Third, the rear window does not provide a 100% dirt and water tight seal. After driving down a dirt road I later discovered a bunch of dust in the back of my truck around the rear window. Overall I think the cap looks great and fits great but so far I cannot say I'm 100% satisfied. Cap and install with a few custom add ons. pros: looks great, paint matched exact, led light rope very bright. Cons: cheap lock hardware, too expensive for what it is and personally I had a bad order experience. If you can afford it your concerned about looks buy it. Otherwise choose a cheaper model.
