The back and side windows fit nicely. Paint is great. It fits my truck perfectly. The carpet headliner is good, but not perfect. The LED lights are cool and worth the money. BUT, the assembly of the front window is horrible. The screws that mount the frame to the cap are almost all screwed in crooked and many are stripped. It seems sturdy, but looks terrible. I can't believe that this kind of slop is allowed to leave an assembly shop. For how expensive this cap is, I'd expect it to look at least like someone cared a little. Again, overall the cap is nice and looks good. The A.R.E. cap's fit and finish is superior. The paint match to my truck is superb. The quality of the removable sliding window in front is much better than the competitive brand. I particularly like the rope lighting options which allows the entire bed to be lit at night. This option was not available from the competitor. Finally, the paint of my cap was scratched in transit. The dealer gave me a choice of trying to repair the scratch with touch up paint or sending it back to be repainted. I chose to send it back to the factory for repainting. Z series Z Series : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra September 09, 2014    Posted by: Larry This is our 2nd A.R.E. topper. We had the first one (with a BedRug) for 14 yrs. Time for a new truck and topper. Love the new Z series as it looks so much like original equipment with the blended windows. It blends in so well people think it came with the truck. We also like the way the liner blends with the new BedRug. Looks like a cozy cocoon in there. We also like the new LED interior lights and the way we don"t have to leave the truck lights on any more for them to work.
