I have had at least 3 A.R.E. caps before this one and have been happy with all of them. Had 1 or 2 issues but they were handled under warrantee. I have only had this cap for 4 days. I like the looks and finish but can't evaluate further yet. Purchasing it was another thing though. I ordered it on 07-06-2020 and was given a delivery date of 08-17-2020. On 08-17-2020 I called and was told it would be delayed until 08-26-2020 and because I was 7th in line on that order it would probably be 09-02-2020. I checked back on 08-26-2020 and was told it wasn't in and there would be no delivery the following week. I checked the 2nd week in September and was told it should be here on 09-16-2020 and I was 1st in line. I received a call on 09-16-2020 that it was in so I went down and had it installed. Installation was done in a timely manner. Too bad it was over 4 weeks past when I was told I would have it. I had issues with this review also. I clicked to review the terms of service and was taken to them as expected. When I tried to go back to review it said something about have in to resubmit it. When I got the page back it was blank except for saying "Z Series Truck Caps".

Window seal not glue together evenly. Some adhesive on outside by window. Rear hatch needs to be slammed shut to close, lefthand latch appears to have alignment issue. Windows were dirty and had glue on them. Fitment in the rear left corner to the truck uneven, large gap on left hand side. Sliding window opens halfway. Disappointed in workmanship. Four holes are drilled in mounting ledge, located by clamps, looks bad. Can provide pictures if requested.

Not sure if i would order this again. The hinges seem to be clunky and not very well made and seem to be slow. The sticker for the ARE is put on crooked/slanted and actually looks bad for the amount of money i paid. Poor attention to detail for sure. Must not be any quality control.
