Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

This is the third A.R.E. shell I've had on my trucks over the years. This one is installed on a 2012 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. It is by far the best looking (Z Series) I've purchased. I like the rear window latch. It has a solid feel and is self-latching; no turning of the handle required. I also like the ease of opening the side windows without having to climb inside. There is very little space between the back of the cab and the front of the shell, giving it a clean look. The only thing that I miss (thus the 4 stars rather than 5) is getting the interior light. It was installed in my other shells but gone in this one. Not only does it give you a light, but it provides a power source to the rear of the bed, which is something I don't have on my model pickup. I installed a set of LED lights around the bed and a switch that activates them when the rear window opens.
