 My Fourth A.R.E.
Z Series : Ford F150

This is my fourth A.R.E. Z-Series Cap. I have had them all on F Series trucks. My first and second cap were trouble free, paint and finsh excellent. My third had a couple of minor problems to include the rubber seal between side crank out window fell off the first week. The other minor issue was the rear tailgate seal was cut too short and had to be replaced. The dealer I purchased from was more than happy to take care of the issues. I like the look of the cap but the latest one has had a couple of issues also. The first time I rolled out the right rear window it nearly fell off the cap. The paint and finish (tuxedo black) on the latest one is not as good as the others. This may or may not be a factor in purchasing a new A.R.E. cap in the future.

 2nd z series cap

I purchased your Co's Cap because of prior ownership of 2003 Z series cap. Had a few small issues with previous cap, frozen lock and faded out brake light. Both of these issues seem to have been upgraded on this unit. I did look at a few other premium cap company units that were less expensive, but after comparing, went back to yours. Even though the front sliding tilt window was now an option instead of included as standard in 03' the better quality seemed worth the extra cost. Nice Cap. Keep up the quality work.
