Does not seem as well built as the last 3 A.R.E. caps I have owned. There is a flaw in the paint on the top, and the side glass is wavey. The side glass that opens, fits tighter at the top than at the bottom. This may be the installation.

I had one of these on my last truck, and got a lot of favorable comments on it. The design is such that it doesn't look like a topper...it makes the pick up look like an SUV. Got a new truck, and the first day I had it I went in and ordered this cap. Love it, nice quality, nice paint job, nice lines.

I love the cap and most of the things about it are great except I believe a few things are needed to be done to get an excellent rating from me. First- The cap is way to expensive. Second- There are only a few options for this and other models. Third- The rear window plastic at the bottom is a little flimsy. I’m worried about this winter and how it will hold up. Forth- The screens in the side windows are not removable nor slide able. I have had my truck for only 2 weeks and already screeched the screen and it is over $75 to have someone climb in there to replace it. Its just a screen window, have it be removable. Fifth, and lastly- The view out the back rear window is very small compared to most every cap. Other than those issues the cap is great.
