 Made for the woods
A.R.E. Cxe Series
CX Evolve : Chevy/GMC Colorado/Canyon

Fit and finish was flawless. Was able to order exactly what I wanted. Slider window on one side and wind door on the other. OTR finish is perfect for heavily wooded trails. No Scratches. Roof liner well worth it for keeping hunting dogs warm. Ability to have a Yakima roof rack a must due to Colorado short 5 ft.bed for additional cargo space. The price was much less than other quality toppers. Getting stopped in parking lots asking about the OTR. Hard to find something exactly as you want it and in a matter of weeks.

 CX Classic Cap
A.R.E. Cx Series
CX Classic : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra

My wife & I replaced a 19 year old Covermasters cap that we purchased when we bought the truck in 2005. The CX Classic cap was just installed yesterday by Beach Auto Outfitters. The fit on the truck and the finish of the cap is very good. We had a decent amount of rain last night and I see no water leaks on my existing bed rug. If you live in the Tidewater area of Virginia, I highly recommend visiting Beach Auto Outfitters. They are extremely customer service focused and A.R.E. is fortunate having them as a distributor.

 ARE MX 2024 Ford F250
A.R.E. Mx Series
MX Series : Ford Super-Duty

I recently purchased the ARE MX series truck cap for my 2024 Ford F250. I first noticed the holes that were used to secure the cap during shipping. Although washers were used with the bolts, the washers essentially eroded the carpet underneath them, leaving a one inch circle of exposed fiberglass in four places. This was not the case when I purchased the same ARE MX in 2020. The carpet liner was rippled throughout the interior and I had to go through with a plastic putty knife and smooth everything out. There's also a spot of carpet near the bulk head that doesn't meet up, leaving exposed fiberglass. Lastly, the cap leaks on the flat long portion of the driver's side. The leak runs 3/4 the length and onto the wiring coming from the driver's side brake light. Eventually that will cause corrosion. There are companies out there that use a much better gasket that prevent leaks in simple areas like this. My 2020 MX had a leak coming from the windoor, which is why I went with the standard slider window this time. For $4000, I expect better quality.
