Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

Overall fit is great including the fit of the fiberglass walk thru door. Interior very nice with the exception of the sliding window frame on the left side of shell was bent from the factory and this makes it difficult to slide open the window. Shell looks very nice on the truck and is well made. Rear opening door is sturdy and has extra rubber straps to keep the door tight while still using the two locks on each end. The rubber gasket for the rear opening door is a huge problem. Dealer mentioned that ARE is aware of this. During the first week of use of the door, the gasket continually came loose first starting at the bottom where you enter the door and eventually started coming loose on the side and top on our first outing. (2 weeks old camper shell) Every time that I entered through the door, meant that I had to take time to re-install the rubber gasket back into the groove. I would love for ARE to address this with a solution.
