Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

Very nice finish with this cap. My second one of this series in 10 years. I ordered with the sleek pop out windows but they made a mistake and it shipped with the work windows however I kept it and other than the look of the handles it is a nice feature to open and get to stuff in the front of the box without climbing in. The handles are a little smaller than the past which is a little less ergonomic on the hands. We will see if I get used to it but the leverage is not as good as the old ones. Just on the side of quality suggestions for A.R.E. on this cap is that it would be nice to see the screws in straight. It kind of makes me nervous to see a crooked screw every so often that does not sit flat. Maybe better pilot holes... Also, the rear window on this one seems to go higher than my old one. Grabbing and closing is a little challenge. With the extra piece on the bottom of the window, it could break over time if you grab that. Suggestions? I reach for the side of the window. Hope that is ok.
