Over the years, I've had several truck caps. All were made of aluminum and eventually loosened and rattled. This cap is constructed entirely of molded fiberglass. Don't think it will EVER rattle in my lifetime. The installers sealed it completely on the box, leaking will not be a problem. Anyone looking for a first class cap should go for A.R.E....

Everything went as planned, I'm very happy. The retailer delivered a scratched topper where they slid it into a rack, but instead of shipping it back, he took off $200.00 off. What a great deal! I love the drop front window also!

Pro- nice finish overall, good fit. Con-latch interfers with the top of the tailgate, gouging the top of the gate. The direction of the handle to open is clockwise. And, the bottom edges of the rear window frame are not finished, leaving sharp edges. Otherwise, a nice shell.
