The plastic side pieces at the ends of the window do not complement the camper shell. The plastic does not line up with the window frame and honestly looks like it belongs to a different model. On the right side of my shell the double stick tape that holds the plastic trim to the camper shell does not even touch so the plastic trim flaps in the wind. I removed both plastic trim pieces and although it doesn't look good with anything back there at least it doesn't have these plastic pieces that look like they are for another camper type. I would like to add that once I removed these plastic trim pieces there is a very visible indentation into the paint or fiberglass from where the plastic trim was installed while the paint or fiberglass was curing. I would be happy to send a photo to show you what I am referring to if you supply me with an email I can send the photo to. In summary, this was a very expensive camper shell to have these plastic trim pieces not line up correctly, tape not hold plastic in place, and deep groves in paint or fiberglass from these plastic trim pieces. One last thing, thre were 4 different places inside the camper shell that had round spots of white corrosion. It looks like at one time there was washers that where installed there and started to corrode and then removed! I had to scratch at the carpet to get the white corrosion to flake off. I still have holes in the camper shell in those locations and have no idea why. They charged me extra because I have the Toyota bed rail hold down system and I am thinking they just broke off whatever was there to hold the shell down in those cases when there is no bed rail system. No reflection on A.R.E. but my left tail light was left loose! I was washing my truck and found the light assembly very loose. I dropped the tailgate and found the two torque head bolts had been started but not finished being screwed in.
