Z Series Z Series : Honda Ridgeline March 09, 2017    Posted by: Mb I recently purchased a Z truck top for a 2017 honda ridgeline. This is my third truck shell I've owned but my first A.R.E.,overall a nice top it looks good on the truck but it had a few quality issues. First of all the headliner installation is not real good it has some wrinkles, and air pockets where it didn't adhere to the shell not done as nice as the other ones I've owned. There were a few runs in the clear coat that I sanded and buffed out and it looked like it had some clear overspray on it that I had to clay and polish out. I also have had about 5 water leaks in the shell where it mounts to the truck probably from the quirky nature of the Honda bed rails. All other finish work seems to be well done. I have had other shells on my trucks and had good luck with them lasting. I do remove my shell quite often because I pull a fifth wheel trailer. I like the fact that I can reach to open windows with out getting in the shell . Also like the heavy duty hinges on rear door.
