I purchased the lid to cover the box on my new pickup. It appears that there is an engineering/design flaw in that the lid does not seal behind the truck cab. I returned to the dealer for an adjustment that seemed to help. However, the lid does not sit squarely on the box and cover the plastic box edge cover. I am not sure if this is installation or design. It should be corrected.

After driving work vans for almost thirty years I needed something more comfortable. I bought a crew-cab pickup and to get some covered storage area needed a shell for the bed. A neighbor had an A.R.E. shell on his truck so I decided to get that brand because of the fit and color match. It looks really good and cuts out the wind noise completely. I'm leaving for Florida in three days and will find out how weatherproof it is before I get back, so far so good.

 Fold down front window.

Front fold down window poorly designed. Should fold up so that it is not resting on window frame in down position. Also should be removable without removing window frame. There should be a boot of some kind available to seal off the topper from the truck. The right side of the topper bulges out slightly.
