Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

I ordered a color matched Z Series cap from my local A.R.E. dealer. I was very disappointed in the paint finish when the cap arrived. It had about 30 areas that appeared as if the cap was not properly cleaned/prepped prior to painting and 2 areas that the paint was removed during the polishing stage after painting. The cap was returned to the factory and repainted to my satisfaction, but it was obvious that someone didn't do a proper final inspection prior to shipping. I expect better initial quality for a cap in this high price range. Other than that, the cap fits nice and looks nice and appears to be well constructed. I hope the latch system holds up to service.
