Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

Looked at several others, none had the design and features of the A.R.E. I first bought an Astro which leaked around all the windows the first time I used it and got all my camping gear wet. I took it back, they sent it off for repair but it came back the same way, leaking. It was still on the rack outside the dealer in the rain when they called me back. I got all my money returned and drove to the A.R.E. dealer and bought the MX. The MX cap color did not quite match the truck even though they used the paint code from the build tag. The A.R.E. dealer sent the cap back along with my gas fill cover and got a perfect match. Going on 8 years now with no real problems except the rear corners are showing some corrosion on the aluminum. Hey, this is PA where salt is king in winter!
