Cx Series CX Classic : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra January 09, 2025    Posted by: Patrick After providing the dealer with my specs and VIN, the topper did not properly fit my 2024 Silverado. On either side of the corner where the bottom of the topper meets the tailgate corners, there is raw fiberglass where either the dealer or ARE had to "modify" it to fit. When I asked the dealer, they said they don't do that, even though fiberglass dust was on the tailgate. If they didn't modify it, then it's a sad statement as to the "craftmanship" of ARE's products. Lsii Series LSII Series : Dodge Ram March 18, 2021    Posted by: PATRICK Once my LSII cover was installed and presented to me I noticed that a bolt and bolt cover on the driver's side was missing on the hinged area on the one side. The dealer said it came like that from ARE. So they said would order one from ARE but they still have not got one for me since Dec 2020 and it is now April 2021. Streamlined look, one handle operation, is honestly what made me chose ARE over other brands. But it has fallen far short of ideal and I'm 2nd guessing my purchase. It can't be aligned well and it doesn't open far enough. I can't tell you how many people have hit their heads on the latches of the window. It has even drew blood a few times. ARE needs to redesign this window or offer customers a better option. If the tried and true back glass on the Z could be installed on the CX that would be a huge leap forward.
