Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

I switched from a Leer to the A.R.E. because the quality was supposed to be better. I have only had the cap for a little over a week but after the first substantial rain we had most of what I had in the bed of my truck was soaked. Apparently someone thought it was a good idea to put a 3/4" gap in the top of the gasket that seals the side window. As you can guess all the rain from the evening ran through that gap and into the bed of the truck. Sure they are going to fix it at my inconvenience of having to set time aside to go back to the place that installed it (by the way they did a fantastic job) and have a new window put in. When spending $2300 for what is supposed to be a quality cap I would not expect this to happen. As for the rest of the cap so far so good that is why I have title this as undecided. The jury is still out.
