The initial fit was not as good as I had expected. The employee that installed the cap was very experienced with the LSII product but, even with my help, we couldn't get it to fit "just right". A few days later, I made some additional adjustments and in the end was satisfied with the overall fit. The quality of materials used is very good although, in my opinion, the hex head on one of the locking rod height-adjustment bracket bolts stripped too easily and I will need to replace the bolt. The addition of this cap has really improved the look of my truck and I really like the fact that items may now be stored out-of-sight and protected from the elements. The lock works well (only slight key travel either way to lock/unlock . . . just listen for the "click"). The interior light is a nice feature and the paint was matched to my vehicle. Price was fair. Lid. 1st. I started out w/a topper, then a Lid for my 07' F-150 then another Lid for my 11' F-150. I get so many compliments on it, almost every couple of days. I love how you include the black felt finish on the lids, it finishes it off perfect. Your Lids are a little pricy but you get what you pay for. I'm very pleased w/my new Lid. I've seen other brands on the road & on-line for F-150's that didn't flow w/the new body style. I shopped around for awhile but came to my senses and bought A.R.E. The LSII tonneau cover gives me the security I need to help protect my tools. Not only the security from theft but also from the weather. I have always like the style and fit of the cover. The ability to lock it is also a great benefit. I would recommend A.R.E. tonneau covers to anyone looking for style, fit and security for their truck.
