The cap serves as a multi purpose, safe secure dry storage area as well as great looks and less wind drag for better gas mileage!! Color match to your vehicle and hood design.....This is my second one, the first one I had for ten years on my old truck and the day I bought my new truck I ordered the new cap to match the same day.
