 Trim Finish
LSII Series : Ford F150

The lid was everything I knew it would be, had the LSII on my 2005 Titan. I was thinking about going with Leer but did not like the fact that the color match was never quite right on any of the trucks I saw them on. When the dealer told me that A.R.E needed to have my gas cap cover to get a precise color match to my paint (White Platinum tri-coat), I was sold. Lid came in a week early, color matched perfectly like it was made at Ford plant with the truck, install was flawless (Thank you Trick Trucks of Waldorf MD). My only gripe is the exterior trim around the bottom should have been installed a lot better, somewhat wavy and sticks out in some spots, and one edge looks like someone chewed it off instead of cutting it with a sharp knife. It was only on one side, as if two different people, one perfectionist and one that just didn't care, were doing the install, each with their own side. I feel if that had taken another week to finish, it would have been perfect.

Definately not secure from water intrusion.

Originally had an A.R.E. on my old truck. Any leaks were very small and contents stayed dry. This model on a new F-150 looks strange at the front end and seems to funnel water in where it leaks into the bed like a river. If you raise the cover when wet, you can see that water run into the bed. Not what I expected.
