I know that you need a little room On the hinge end of the cover so when you open it it doesn't rub on the truck, but this is way too much on this cover. It looks really bad in my opinion. The cover completes my trucks overall aesthetics and I am impressed by the covers functions, simple but tough. The cover locking feature has been simplified for easy use. Just pull down the lid and its secure. The gas spring support for the cover looks and feels like it is going to provide trouble free service for a long time.
