It is higher at the front of the bed. I was told that it will settle down in 30 days. Sounds crazy to me. I feel that if the tonneau cover is to cover the bed and the side color then it should do that. I had one installed on my 2011 Silverado. I loved that one. So when I bought my 2015 Silverado I knew I wanted to get another A.R.E. truck cover. My truck is Sunset Orange. The cover matched perfectly with my truck body. Also they have improved the latching mechanism. It makes opening and closing it even better. Overall it looks great on my truck and is a great addition on my truck.
