I choose it because of the fit, design, construction etc. I compared it to other brands and like before decided on the A.R.E. The dealer told me it would be about 4 weeks before it would arrive after ordering. Surprisingly it came in about two weeks. The dealer was easy to work with and installed it very professionally. Just bought a 2017 silveradro Midnight Edition & this put it over the top. The lines & the color match the truck like it came from the factory. Am 100% happy about the product & where I bought it from. CTVO truck & van outfitters, the installation was right on. I love that the lock is tied in to the locks on the truck & the led lights come on when you open it. A.R.E. makes a AWESOME product.
