The Cover is 17 months old. I have attempted to get pricing for the part and order part. Company has refused to assist. Dealer allegedly ordered part over a week and a half ago and still waiting. ARE seems unconcerned. I have purchased 6 Cap/Covers since 1997. With this issue over a small part, which is needed so My cover is functional, My next new truck may require consideration of another brand of cover! These are solid well built covers. The last cover was installed when the truck was new and looked better than the truck after 14 years. I recently purchased a 2018 F-150 and looked at all the products on the market and a couple of things brought me back to another ARE cover. The higher than flush profile was exactly the amount of room we needed many times to get an item under the cover. The paint on the two previous cover matched perfectly and lasted for over 9 years that I owned the first truck, and 14 years on the second truck. These covers are dry, many are not. Do yourself a favor, have a liner sprayed on and get this tonneau. After the installation the dealer found multiple chips and scraches that they put touch up paint on. Cheap fix and looked terrible. The dealer was able to order a new cover and promised it would be at the dealer in 3 weeks. Currently waiting patient for the new cover. Its been 2 weeks, so we will see if they hold to there promise.
