I like the lid and would recommend to others.
Seems to be communication problems between manufacturer and distributer. In my opinion, too much left to the distributer/installer. Case in point, I wanted to mount a bicycle rack [20 pounds] on the lid. Manufacturer engineer agreed the design would not deter from the integrity of the cap in any way. Distributer would not perform, and, if I did so on my own any and all warranties would be void. So...
