Lsx Series LSX Series : Dodge Ram March 08, 2011    Posted by: None This is my second A.R.E. bed cover. The first was on a 2001 Dodge Ram short bed. It was/is a great product. The clamps that held it to the bed were metal as was the locking mechanism. Shoot forward to 2009. The bed clamps are plastic and so are the locking arms/mechanism. Very shoddy in my opinion, an otherwise great cover and plastic where metal would have been better. Push up on the bottom of the cover under the locking handle and the cover moves up. This action was impossible on the first cover I bought in 2001. I was not very happy as I am trying to go on a trip and hopefully it will come back correct this time. Lsii Series LSII Series : Dodge Ram February 09, 2011    Posted by: None I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab with an A.R.E. cover about the same color as my 2011 regular cab 1500 Dodge and have been well satisfied with it. Both trucks are white with silver/gray ARE covers.
